25 Things I’m Thankful For This Thanksgiving… In Two Minutes

This isn’t going to be one of those well-thought-out lists of profound things for which we all should be grateful. I wanted to find out, when put under time pressure, what really comes to my mind when I ask myself, “What am I thankful for?”

So here goes…

1.  Friends I can count on

2.  Scoopable cat litter

3.  Dishwashers

4.  Dishwashers that have been emptied by someone else

5.  A reliable car

6.  A reliable husband

7.  Good music

8.  A safe home

9.  Fall, the season, not the verb

10. Coffee

11. Marvin, my robotic “Mint” floor cleaner

12. The volunteers at the Friendswood Animal Control Shelter

13. My pets… at least most of the time

14. Fresh, healthy food

15. Fresh, healthy food cooked by someone else

16. Clean clothes

17. A happy child

18. My rights as an American

19. My education and the opportunities it has provided me

20. A good night’s sleep

21. Snow on Christmas Eve

22. Meaningful conversation

23. Good smelling candles

24. Clean sheets

25. The ability to financially provide for myself and my family

That’s what I was able to come up with. What does your list look like? Please comment and share!

Happy Thanksgiving!
