As a Performance Communication® expert, speaker, and author, I bring more than 20 years of business experience and a passion for helping people communicate better, lead stronger, and build teams that actually work. I’ve coached and trained thousands of professionals across industries to stop spinning their wheels and start creating real, lasting change—one conversation at a time.
My approach is practical, no-nonsense, and rooted in both experience and education. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from The George Washington University and a Master’s in Human Communication Theory from the University of Northern Colorado. I’m also proud to hold the Certified Speaking Professional® (CSP) designation from the National Speakers Association—an honor earned by fewer than 20% of speakers worldwide.

When I’m not on stage, in the studio, or leading training sessions, you’ll usually find me fostering rescue animals, cuddling one of my many permanent pets, or plotting my next RV adventure. I’ve fostered more than 4,000 animals over the years—so when you say managing your employees feels like herding cats, trust me, I really know what you mean. Helping people and pets thrive is what I do best—usually with a little humor, a lot of heart, and zero tolerance for B.S.
